The Ridgeback

The Nomad Design Ridgeback Jigs are crossover jigs built to fish fast or slow, with a unique profile that creates an aggressive, erratic action predators key in on. The angled head design is the difference maker. On each lift, a quick flick at the top sends the Ridgeback darting sideways, then it settles into a short flutter before dropping again. That sudden kick-and-fall movement looks like a fleeing baitfish losing control, and it is the kind of change in direction that triggers reaction strikes from pelagic and bottom-feeding fish.

Fish the Ridgeback Jig as a true slow pitch jig and it will flutter early in the fall before transitioning into a quicker sink, helping you stay in touch with the lure while still presenting a slow pitch style action. Speed it up and the body taper supports faster retrieves and higher-speed jigging without losing its signature sideways shoot. When you want one jig that can cover multiple depths, retrieve speeds, and fish moods, the Ridgeback is built to keep you effective.
